Well if we are having a "do" I think it's only right that you all have a hair cut I'll pop along with me scissors Anyone up for a dye job? Need to get some practise in before the jubilee. Im gonna whizz that Olympic torch 518ft up the tower ... just as soon as I get my knees going

Just had mine cut, Lyn, but thanks all the same. Do remember you have to run up the tower - and keep a firm hold of that torch : don`t want it falling on anyone below, we`ve had enough bad publicity in past adventures. ( not me, of course - mostly Jean and Julie )

I fancy a mohican Lyn, orange on one side and green on the other. It will go with my newly painted cannon. I took it to quick fit for a spray job ( really wanted ferrari red but hey ho! ) As I am having trouble finding an outfit I like I thought you might knit one for me Julie as you are so good at it . I am going to 'bear' the torch around Preston. We have the perfect route marked out for Preston Guild which is only held every 20 years and it is this year. I think the route is about 20 miles long so I think you should all come and join me and we can have a relay and end up on a rowing boat and head for the Thames. We can use Jean's bloomers for a mast (if we start now we might make it back for June 2 ) Jenni could shimmy along the river bank lighting the way for us with her torch. The thimbles are now lined up and ready(if you notice the bucket in the middle that's Kathleen's). Doreen, have you lost your trolley?....... I saw one exactly like it at Quickfit looking decidedly glittery and feathery. Could it be yours?

Yes Sheila, that was my trolley you saw. I took it in to have the tyres remodelled.

Has Lyn still got that chainsaw? All of the Blackpool area are in fear and dread. Remember when she chopped up the tightrope at the Tower circus?

Lyn I trust you to cut my hair as you've never done it before - it tends to grow outwards instead of downwards, hence the nickname "mophead!" I would like lincoln green highlights to match my snazzy halter-neck dress which looks stunning with my pink patent kitten heel shoes. I may wobble a bit on these but I'll just blame it on Sheila's generous thimbles of red wine (hic!)
